Terms of use
1. Who we are
Yumeforge is offered by Zornyx Studio, De Nieuwe Erven 3, Unit 151102, 5431 NV Cuijk, Netherlands, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42140443, VAT number NL005529175B50 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@yumeforge.com.
2. The service
Yumeforge is an online studio where you create and edit images, video, 3D models and text with artificial intelligence (AI) models. Many of these models are developed and run by third parties. We choose which models we offer and may add, change or remove models at any time, for example when a provider changes or stops a model.
AI results are unpredictable. A model may produce something different from what you asked for, contain errors, or look like existing works or people. We do not guarantee that a result is suitable for your purpose.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Give correct details and keep your password, recovery codes and API keys secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account. We recommend turning on two-step login.
- One person, one account. Accounts are personal and can't be transferred or sold.
- Tell us straight away at support@yumeforge.com if you think someone else is using your account.
4. Credits and prices
- You pay for generations with prepaid credits. One credit represents €0.01 of generation value. You get credits by buying a one-time pack (larger packs include bonus credits), with a monthly plan (see section 5), or with a gift card or promo code (see section 6).
- The studio shows the price of a generation in credits before you start it. That price is deducted when the generation starts.
- Some tools that work on a video or audio file you add (for example video edits, upscaling and lip sync) are priced per second of that file. We measure the length of the file and show the price before you start. Files longer than the maximum length shown in the studio can't be used; trim them first.
- Credits don't expire while your account exists, including credits from a monthly plan. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- If a generation fails and you don't receive a result, the credits are returned to your balance automatically.
- Prices are in euros and include VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may change prices for the future; this never changes the value of credits you already bought.
- Free or bonus credits (for example welcome credits, the daily bonus, share rewards and prizes) can't be refunded and may be withdrawn if they were obtained through abuse, such as multiple accounts. Credits you earn by selling templates work the same way: they can't be refunded or paid out (see section 12).
- Invite rewards: when a friend you invited makes their first purchase, you both get the invite reward shown in your account. Invites from the same network, invites to yourself, fake or duplicate accounts and other abuse don't count. We may withhold or take back rewards obtained that way, and change or end the invite programme for the future. Rewards you already received stay yours unless they were obtained through abuse.
- Refunds and disputes: if a payment is refunded, or you dispute it with your bank or card provider, we take back the credits that payment bought, as far as they are still in your balance. When a payment is disputed we may also suspend the account until the dispute is resolved (see our refund policy).
5. Monthly plans
- Next to one-time packs you can choose a monthly plan: Basic (€12 a month, 1,300 credits), Plus (€29 a month, 3,300 credits) and Pro (€59 a month, 7,000 credits). Prices include VAT.
- A plan renews automatically every month until you cancel it. We charge your payment method at the start of each period.
- The plan's credits are added to your balance each time an invoice is paid. Like all credits, they never expire: unused credits carry over to the next month.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal (Manage plan on your account page). Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. The current period is not refunded, unless the law requires it (see section 7 and our refund policy).
- If you switch to another plan, we may charge a prorated amount for the rest of the current period. You then receive credits in proportion to what you paid, up to the credits of the new plan.
- If you delete your account, your plan is cancelled at the same time and is not renewed again.
- We may change the price or credits of a plan for the future. We tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to your plan, and you can cancel before then.
6. Gift cards and promo codes
- You can buy a gift card for someone else. The gift card is a code for a fixed number of credits. Whoever redeems the code first gets the credits in their account; keep it safe and only share it with the person it is meant for.
- We may also hand out promo codes, for credits or for a discount on a one-time credit pack. Discount codes don't apply to monthly plans.
- Each code can be used once per account. A code may have an expiry date or a maximum number of uses, and it stops working after that.
- Codes and gift cards have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money, resold, or exchanged for another product.
- If the payment for a gift card is refunded or disputed, the gift card is cancelled. Credits already redeemed from it can be taken back from the account that redeemed them.
- Codes obtained or used through abuse (for example guessing codes, multiple accounts, or reselling) are cancelled, and the credits can be taken back.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content and services that start straight away, this right ends once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code).
When you buy credits you are asked to give that consent. In practice this means: credits you have used for a generation can't be withdrawn from. Credits you have not used can be refunded within 14 days of purchase on request, as described in our refund policy. For a monthly plan the same applies to each paid invoice: unused credits from that month can be refunded within 14 days of the invoice. A gift card can be refunded within 14 days as long as its code has not been redeemed.
8. Your content
What you upload
You keep all rights to the images, videos, audio and text you upload and the prompts you write ("input"). You confirm that you have the rights and, where needed, the consent of the people shown, to use that input in the way you do. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your input, and to pass it to the model providers that process your request, only to deliver the service to you.
What you create
As far as we have any rights in the results you generate ("output"), we transfer them to you, and you may use output for private and commercial purposes. In many countries purely AI-generated output is not protected by copyright, so others may be free to use similar material. Some model providers apply their own usage conditions; where that is the case we show it in the studio. Check the licence terms of the model providers you offer.
Sharing on Explore
Your results are private unless you share them. When you share a result to the public Explore page, or enter it in a challenge, you give us a non-exclusive, free licence to show that result, its prompt and the model name on Yumeforge for as long as it is shared. If you turned on a public profile, your handle and profile picture are shown with it; otherwise it is shown without your name. You can stop sharing at any time; we then remove it from Explore. Shared results must follow our acceptable use policy, and we may take any shared result off Explore.
Apart from results you share on Explore, enter in a challenge, allow us to feature (see section 10) or use as a template preview (see section 12), we don't use your input or output to promote Yumeforge, and we don't train our own models on it. We may look at specific input or output only to handle a report, prevent abuse, or when the law requires it.
9. Community: profiles, likes, reviews and challenges
Public profile
Your profile is private by default. You can turn on a public profile with a handle, a profile picture and a short bio. Your handle, picture and bio must follow our acceptable use policy. We may hide a profile, or remove a handle, bio or picture, if it breaks these rules or someone's rights. Your results then stay on Explore without your name.
Likes and follows
You can like shared results and follow public profiles. You can't like your own results. Likes must reflect real appreciation by real people; likes gained through fake accounts or arrangements don't count.
Ratings and reviews
You can rate a model you finished at least one generation with, and add a short review. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience with the model. They are public, with your handle if you have a public profile and as "Verified creator" otherwise. You can change or delete your review. We may hide a review that breaks these terms or our acceptable use policy.
Challenges
- From time to time we run challenges with a theme, a start time and an end time. Entering is free and makes your entry public on Explore.
- One entry per person per challenge. Your entry must be a result you made after the challenge started, with a tool that doesn't use a real person's face.
- Entries are ranked by the number of likes they received up to the end time; likes after the end don't count. An entry needs at least one like to win. With equal likes, the earlier entry ranks higher.
- Prizes are credits, added to the winner's balance as bonus credits. Like other bonus credits they have no cash value and can't be refunded or exchanged.
- We may disqualify an entry, before or after the end, if it breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy, or if likes were gained unfairly (for example with fake accounts or vote rings). A prize won that way is void and can be taken back.
10. Featuring on our website and social media
- When you create an image or video you can tick the box that allows Yumeforge to feature it. Some tools can't be featured, such as tools that use a real person's face and adult content.
- By ticking the box you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to show that result and its prompt on our website (for example in the community feed on the homepage and on the Featured page), on Yumeforge's social media accounts and in our marketing, with or without crediting you. We only mention your handle if you have a public profile.
- You can withdraw permission for a result at any time in your library. We then stop showing it on our website and stop using it for new posts, and on request we make a reasonable effort to remove existing posts. Copies that others made or shared can be outside our control.
- Each week we may pick a favourite result and post it. The maker wins bonus credits. Picks are made at our discretion, there is no right to be picked, and like other bonus credits the prize has no cash value and can't be refunded or exchanged.
- You confirm that you have the rights to anything you uploaded to make the result, and that featuring it doesn't break anyone else's rights. We may decline or stop featuring any result.
11. Daily bonus, badges and share rewards
- Daily bonus: you can claim a small number of free credits once per calendar day (UTC). Claim on consecutive days to build a streak; every 7th day in a row gives a larger bonus. A missed day starts the streak over. The bonus unlocks when your account is at least 24 hours old and you have made something or bought credits.
- Badges mark things you did in the studio, such as your first creation or a 7-day streak. They have no value and can't be exchanged.
- Share rewards: when someone signs up through a share link you copied from Yumeforge and finishes their first generation within 30 days of signing up, you get the share reward shown in the studio (standard 25 credits), up to 10 rewards per calendar month. The same rules as for invites apply: sign-ups from your own network, fake or duplicate accounts and other abuse don't count.
- These rewards are bonus credits: they have no cash value and can't be refunded or exchanged. We may change, pause or stop the daily bonus, badges and share rewards, and change their amounts, at any time for the future. Rewards obtained through abuse are void and can be taken back, and the accounts involved may be suspended.
12. Template marketplace
On the marketplace creators sell templates: the model, prompt and settings behind one of their own results, which serves as the preview.
Selling
- You can only sell a template made from your own finished image or video result. Templates from tools that use a real person's face, and from adult models, can't be sold.
- Every new or changed template is reviewed before it is published. We may reject, hide or remove any template, also after it was published, for example when it breaks our acceptable use policy.
- You set the price in credits. When someone buys your template, you receive the price minus the platform fee (standard 30%; the current fee is shown when you sell and buy) as credits. These credits work like other credits in the studio, but have no cash value: they can't be paid out, refunded or exchanged for money.
- You confirm that you have the rights to the prompt, title, description and preview, and that they don't break anyone else's rights. You give every buyer a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual licence to use your prompt and settings to make their own results, for private and commercial purposes, and to change them. Buyers may not resell or publish your template as their own template. You also give us a licence to show your template, its preview and your handle (if your profile is public) on Yumeforge while it is listed.
- You can withdraw your template at any time. People who already bought it keep access.
Buying
- You pay the price shown, in credits, once. The prompt and settings then unlock, and you keep access, also when the creator withdraws the template later. Each generation you make with it costs its normal price.
- A purchase is final. Refunds are only possible through support, at our discretion, for example when a template clearly doesn't work as described (see our refund policy).
- Results you make with a template are your output, under section 8.
13. Affiliate program
Our affiliate program pays a commission in money on payments by customers you bring in. The full affiliate terms apply. In short: you need an approved affiliate account; a visitor counts as yours when they sign up within 30 days of opening your link; you earn a percentage of their payments in the first 12 months after sign-up; earnings are on hold for 30 days; you can request a payout from €50 of approved earnings, which we pay by bank transfer or PayPal; and you are responsible for your own taxes. Self-referrals, second accounts, spam, misleading claims, cookie stuffing and paid search ads on our brand name are not allowed. We may reject, pause or close an affiliate account and withhold earnings that come from breaking the rules.
14. Developer API
- You can use Yumeforge from your own code with an API key (see the developer documentation). The API uses the credits on your account, at the same prices as the studio. These terms and our acceptable use policy apply to everything you do through the API.
- API keys are personal and tied to your account. Keep them secret: anyone with your key can spend your credits. You are responsible for all use of your keys and for the credits spent with them, until you revoke the key. Revoke a key straight away if you think it leaked.
- Keep to the rate limits in the documentation. Don't use the API to get around our safety checks, limits or prices, to resell access to Yumeforge as a competing service, or to overload our systems.
- If your app lets other people create content, you are responsible for what they create, and you must stop misuse.
- We may change the API, change the limits, or suspend or revoke keys, for example when we see misuse, a leaked key or a risk to the service.
15. Rules for use
You must follow our acceptable use policy. It forbids, among other things, sexual content involving minors, intimate images of real people without their consent, deceptive deepfakes, fraud and harassment. Results carry an AI label (see our AI disclosure); you must not remove it to mislead others.
16. Suspension and termination
- You can close your account at any time from your account page. This also cancels your monthly plan, if you have one.
- We may block prompts, remove output, suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the law, if we have to by law, to protect others, or while a payment dispute is open. Where reasonable we warn you first and tell you why. You can object at support@yumeforge.com.
- If we close your account because you seriously broke these terms, unused credits are not refunded to the extent the law allows. If we close your account for any other reason, or stop the service, we refund unused paid credits.
17. Availability and storage
We work to keep Yumeforge available, but we can't guarantee that it is always online or that a particular model is always available. We may carry out maintenance; during maintenance new generations or the whole site can be paused. You can check the current state on our status page.
We keep your uploads and the results in your library until you delete them or close your account. When you delete a result, it disappears from your library straight away and its files are erased about 30 days later; after that we can't restore it. Failed generations are erased after 30 days. Still, we recommend downloading results that matter to you.
18. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and for anything else we can't exclude by law. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit or lost data, or for how you use output. You indemnify us against claims from third parties caused by input you uploaded or output you published in breach of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
19. Changes
We may change these terms. We announce important changes at least 30 days in advance by email or in the studio. If you don't agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect and ask for a refund of unused paid credits.
20. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law of your country gives you, as a consumer, the right to go to your local court. Please contact us first at support@yumeforge.com; we try to solve every complaint within 14 days.
