Will the restored photo still look like my family?
Yes, that is the goal: restoration repairs damage and keeps the faces and composition. Very damaged faces (missing parts, heavy blur) can come out less exact, so always compare with the original.
Is the colour accurate?
The colours are a realistic reconstruction, not historical fact. Clothing and background colours in particular can differ from the real ones.
Can I animate an old photo of someone who passed away?
You can, and many people find it moving. Please do it with care and respect for the family, only with photos you have the right to use, and mention that the clip is AI-generated when you share it.
